Guam - SHIRO'S HEAD will be making its European and Japan premieres within the next few weeks.

The producers, and Guam natives, Don and Kel Muna say their movie was recently selected for showing at two international film festivals:

The Strasbourg International Film Festival in FRANCE and the Inaugural Toei HISTORICA Film Festival in KYOTO, JAPAN.

According to a release from the Muna brothers, the Strasbourg Film Festival is a 10-day international festival that will run from August 28th, 2009 - September 6th. The festival is featuring only 25 filims, out of thousands of submissions. The screening date has not been released yet.

And they say the HISTORICA Film Festival is being sponsored by Japan's most successful and established film and television studio, Toei Film Studios.

This is their first ever festival and will be held on September 22, 26 and 27. The SHIRO'S HEAD screening will take place during Japan's big holiday week:

Date: September 22 1pm-6pm
Venue: The Museum of Kyoto (Annex)

In their release, the Muna brothers state that "It's always an honor to share the talent of Guam with new audiences whether it's here at home or in other countries around the world." And "We sincerely thank all of you for your support."
